Hi, one of my members has been working with TIF files from her email all day. It may not be able to open for you directly from the attachment. It receives the basic “Execution Failed” command. Other types of titles open. If your .tif file is saved on your computer’s desktop, it will open. Therefore, when we restart our own computer, some of them will open. They get the error again. Here are some characteristics of Vista:
Windows Home Basic SP2

Have
i Users on a full Windows 2008 Terminal Server. However, they have been upgraded to Office 2010.
Since then, updated TIFF files no longer display correctly. If they intersect with black lines, see ground. And these lines, printed together, make it difficult to read their documents. Not that the TIF (from f video) is displayed well.
Can not Open TIF file?
Because. This issue occurs because Exchange Server 2013 removes the filename from the Content-Disposition header. tif” and the new full header is Content-Disposition: inline. Therefore, Windows cannot recognize the file or select an application to clean up the file.
I would say that before upgrading to Office, TIFF files were placed in Microsoft Office Document Imaging. But it looks like they were removed during the installation of Office 2010.
Even though the user now double-clicks the actual TIFF file, they still have the option to launch MS Office 2010 or Windows Photo Gallery. When MS Office 2010 is considered selected, you can view the Tiff Fine start page. But there is no way to move to the next page, which is a serious problem in a multi-page TIFF. Dark lines appear when printing.
If you select Windows Photo Gallery, you will be able to surf the web, but black lines will appear for each page.
How do I open a TIF file in an email?
Right click the file. ! tiff file.Select “Open With” from the context menu.Click Choose a default program.Select the appropriate program in the program field.Check the “Always make this file type available to the selected program” box.click OK.
I don’t want to use a third party application to view TIFF files. Does anyone know a Microsoft solution that works in Office 2010/Server 2008?

This should help. After installation, don’t forget to change the default device settings to view TIFF and TIF formats with Microsoft Document Imaging.
