ubuntu error unable to access jarfile minecraft_server.jar

Okay, my port is also open and I downloaded Minecraft SMP.

The Minecraft server log tells me that I only need to type “java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui” to complete my server startup, but when I get there in the “swift” command (where java is replaced by specific becomes expensive java to .exe) it gives me this error message “Could not access jar file minecraft_server.jar”

What can I do? Currently, I’ve successfully set up a Minecraft Classic server, but this time I can’tAccept what is wrong.

Thanks for the advice, but I’m not sure what you mean. I am rather inexperienced in this kind of observation. As far as I can tell, minecraft_server.jar is located in the Downloads > Users section. Can’t find it here using command line?

I had the same error, then I moved this Minecraft_Server.jar file to my user file and got this error message.

I then moved it to a better desktop and opened it as the latest JAR file. These are the generated server properties and server log files. But it didn’t work. Then I changed the IP address of my servers at home, it didn’t work. Then I wrote in the terminal related server start command:

You should be able to remove the JAR without doing anything even if it is downloaded. Changed: In new versions of Spigot, including 1.12. They INTENTIONALLY own the author’s resource by creating a jar of their jar that sees the jar but never uses it.

      I have a p Similar problem.
By the way, I have Windows 8… it sucks

How do I fix a jar error?

Update Java to the latest version.detect malware.Set Java exactly as the default opener.Make hidden files and folders visible.Use Jarfix.Set default file association.

anyway, take a look at start.bat
(I followed the instructions on the minecraft.net wiki)
When I click on it, it tells me what access the minecraft_server.jar file cannot block.
I’m pretty sure the system path is working, I mean it leads to java.exe.
I’ve been following the section of the wiki usually called
Start the Minecraft server (.jar version)
and every time you didn’t work, I followed
Run the JAR version without changing the system path
and s5620 idk wrong. Help, try to clarify this in less technical terms. :(

I had this problem but any suggestions I made to solve it. I created the bat with

      Java Entry -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui

So far I’ve run it, but they didn’t work, so I use permissions for

      java -Xms1024M -xmx1024m -jar minecraft_server.1.6.2.jar nogui

      < /div >

this is the only otherIt worked for me because I hope it works for you too.

I have a specific similar issue. I run .container and get the message “Cannot run Java JAR file ‘Voltz.jar'”.
Then I try to run the launch.sh file and it says “Cannot access jar file Voltz.jar”.
I don’t know how to support it.

PS I’m using Mac OS X 10.9 and working Forge Server 1.5.2

Something needs to be done with the voltz.jar file. Try downloading it again here (assuming you buy the latest recommended version of Voltz): http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/voltz/Voltz_Server_v2.0.4.zip

Try doing this as long as your working directory matches the directory where minecraft_server.jar is shown in

      java -Xms1024M -xmx1024m -jar ./minecraft_server.jar nogui

It can also beFile permissions, try “chmod” for the most appropriate permissions (don’t know which ones)

I made the same mistake, then placed the Minecraft_Server.jar file at an angle in my home folder and got the error.

I then moved it to my desktop and opened it as a package file. These are the generated server resources and server log files. But he didn’t get any work. Then I changed the IP address in the server properties, everything did not work. Then I just typed the command to start the server in the terminal:

Then I got the same error I started with:

Unable to access JAR file minecraft_server.jar
God this fact is boring to help someone. This is for version 1.6!

      I have a similar problem.
By the way, I’m using Windows 6. It sucks

      Anyway, just duplicate start.bat
(I followed the instructions on the minecraft.net RSS Feeds page)
When I bite it it tells me there is no jar file minecraft_server.jar.
      when checking

Download this software now and say goodbye to your computer problems.
