Normally the system does not perform any heart rate checks on hard drives.
You will get syslog if some approach is accessing the hard drive and

On the other hand, it’s even worse. I used to have this monitor run every
minutes and I just did df -k to check if hard drives are coming from all of them.
It turned out that this was not enough. There was a hard drive that most likely answered “df -k” correctly, but “ls /” would probably say “I / O error” and then it was [really dead] a few days before. (We used two hard drives to store alternate versions of the p Apparently, it’s incredible that we were able to restore or install
on a live system.)
The explanation is that most of the information is needed since df is cached in the
superblock. The df file is of course not diagnostic because it does not actually access the
disk.

I just sold a 6TB WD Blue and installed it on a temporary patching system while I test and deploy things. I started with a little test and ended up making our own mistakes, usually in a log.
When searching on Google, not much comes up. Does anyone know the exact cause of the problem? Should I return a drive if I need it for an exchange with a reseller?

Apparently, the program has problems accessing the kernel am. No problem with the reader.
If you’re really worried, boot from the Ubuntu Realtime DVD / USB and use the Storage utility to check the results.
If a person really needs to use Windows, the Almico Speedfan tool will use it to read a floppy disk and explain the rating for free.
