Why the hell am I looking for other “problems” on the pic server while the dl drivers are updated … dcdiag is also running … it all happened, but of course … what the hell is this related to?

My Windows 2003 R2 Print Spooler service continues to fail. On startup, I get the excellent error “An unhandled win32 exception occurred in spoolsv.exe”. No matter how many times I try to manually start a particular print spooler, it will hold back for minutes or seconds. from time to timeIt only stops when I open Printers and Faxes. It continues to send 7034 event errors in an event informing the client: “The print spooler service terminated unexpectedly.”
I have run and run spyware scans, tried to run CleanSPL, nothing works and so none of my users can do any documents since all our printers are connected to this server.
I cannot access the server properties in the printer window and when I try to follow the administration tools> Print Control I get an awesome red X in my server list and as soon as I expand it it kills the print spooler – When started manually, I get expert services again.

This server is also used for multiple SQL servers, so a simple and easy reinstallation is not the best option. The server is running out of disk space and it looks like defragmentation could be done too, but I can’t imagine that would cause any problems. Was
Print worked fine for several weeks, but even this morning it stopped. All new drivers have been created in at least two weeks and I am still checking to see if WSUS updated anything last night. Anyone have an idea?
