I have installed krb5 from some of the AUR and openafs-features repositories. I edited / etc / openafs / ThisCell. When I develop and style “kinit username” I get this:

So this time it will work as it shows the correct node and it will only be correct if I entered a strong username. But when I test aklog it fails:

I noticed that I never loaded the openafs daemon, but here’s the problem, I can’t complain:

Why am I getting a message that a module without Openafs can be counted even if I have Openafs installed?

Problems with updating the kernel module

I just patched the latest Openafs 1.4 to 8, Rhel with RPM from
    openafs.org

Protests per minute is good, but when I buy a customer, I generate a message

    sudo /etc/init.d/openafs-client start
    Updating CellServDB:
Starting openafs-client: FATAL: Openafs module not found.
Error while restarting the openafs kernel module. [DISCLAIMER]

which is surprising, since I also install all the kernel and modules, it exists

Then I need somewhereь Change the relevant configuration file or designate the
openafs.ko registry with the default location?

I have definitely installed the latest RHEL-specific openafs 1.4 using 4, rpm
    from openafs.org.

Do I now have to change the configuration file manually or mark openafs.ko
with information about the standard repository?

You don’t need to do anything else. There are several things that you should check out. First, make sure your working kernel is the same as the model you hooked up to – you can check all running
kernels with -r uname. You may have restarted the updated kernel, but not
    .

    module openafs not found

Second, run depmod -a to verify that the module can be described as current dependency information.

However, I think you probably have a mismatch between the AFS module and the version of the kernel you are using.

Thanks for the offer, Simon. However, I think my kernel-kernel modifications will do, but also – unless I read everything wrongabout:

    $ uname -a
    Linux 2.6.9-78.0.13.ELsmp # 1 SMP Wednesday January 7 17:45:52 EST 2009 x86_64
    x86_64 x86_64 GNU / Linux

In light of this, I thought the kernel would tell its SMP where I need it

I just installed the latest Openafs 1.4 on RHEL 4 and RPM

    . used

Publish David de Beart from openafs.org.

So now I need to modify this config file somewhere or link openafs.ko
with a symlink if you want to archive it Default location?

You don’t need to do anything else. There are several that you are likely to appreciate. First, make sure your running kernel matches the model you have installed – you can check the actual execution with Kernel uname -r. Possible.
You updated your kernel, but did not update or restart.
Second, run depmod -that just to make sure that the dependency information for this module is up to date,

to be really up to date br> the kernel option.

Bear’s message – Thanks to David for Simon’s suggestion. However, I think that my core and

I thought, since your current kernel is talking about SMP, I might need to

Thanks to Simon for helping me find all possible zeros, ones, and dashes in the correct order. It’s time for new glasses … It worked.

Letter to David Bear. Thanks for the tip, Simon. However, I think that the actual core and

No, some of them are not the same.
